Our Natural Beef Farmers

We are very proud of the select group of farmers that supply us with the beef used for our Tasmania Natural Beef cuts.

This select group of 1,000 beef farmers from throughout Tasmania meets the stringent quality standards set by Meat Standards Australia. They supply us exclusively.

To gain selection as a Tasmanian Natural supplier, farmers must produce superior cattle that deliver consistent eating quality.

They are located throughout the higher rainfall areas of Tasmania where pasture growth is typically rich and consistent. Cattle thrive and produce beef of unequalled tenderness.

Hormones and genetically modified organisims (GMOs) are not permitted in Tasmanian beef farming.

Our Tasmanian farmers have always known their grass fed beef is special. We are now very pleased to share the secret with Australian consumers and make this treasure available to everybody. It will change forever the way people think about beef.

  • Cook on one side until moisture is pooling on top surface
  • Turn and cook on second side until moisture is pooling on top
  • Reduce heat slightly and continue to cook until steak feels 'very firm' when pressed with cooking utensil
