Tasmania Natural Beef Steak with Sweet Potato Chips
4 thick sliced sirloin
Tasmania Natural Beef Steaks
750g sweet potato, peeled
1 tblsp cumin
1 tblsp olive oil
Chunky tomato chutney or relish
Slice sweet potato thinly, toss to coat with cumin, oil and salt.
Place on a hot BBQ plate or pan, cook until tender and crisp.
Lightly brush sirloin with oil, and cook steaks to preference.
To serve place sweet potatoes on the plate, top with steak and spoon on tomato relish. Add a green salad on the side.
Adjust recipe for picky eaters by omitting cumin, slicing steak thinly across the grain, and offering tomato sauce in a small bowl for dipping.
Serve with salad and crusty bread.
